RIG Riot Guides Hub
First-hour raids, garage parts, weapons, and objectives mapped to dedicated how-to pages.
RIG Riot is a single-player third-person mech-action roguelike by Sage Boatman. You raid a megastructure, finish objectives, pick weapons and Volatile Mods, then bank outer and inner parts in the garage. This hub maps every how-to article so you can jump to a mechanic without scanning the whole nav.
Steam lists a September 14, 2026 launch window. The demo can be downloaded on Steam and itch.io. English is the language on the Steam listing. Start at the top of the list if you have not opened the Armory; skip ahead if boost, dash, and the raid loop already feel familiar.
Confirm system requirements before you pull a multi-gigabyte client. Bind turbo boost on the controls page so the first tutorial pop-up is not a scramble.
Guide pages
Each link is a dedicated article. The sentence after it is the one-line pitch.
- Getting Started — first-hour checklist covering raid tutorial pop-ups, scrap, starter weapons, and why the Armory is not optional.
- How to Play — the raid loop: turbo boost, dash, flight, wall kicks, and why standing still loses fights.
- Raids and Objectives — Mission versus Assault, major objective pools that scale after the first clear, and when the transport fight starts.
- Garage Customization — outer and inner parts, saved loadouts, palettes, HUD opacity, and interface sliders added in the July 14 demo update.
- Weapons and Mods — light, medium, and heavy slots, the six-mod cap, encryption tokens from chests, and weapons saved to loadouts.
- How to Get Parts — raid drops, chests, banking parts between runs, and what persists after a wipe.
- Arena Mode — July 14 duel space with an Arena Foe bar, separate from major raid objectives.
- Quad and Biped Legs — ground-focused quads from February 2026 and biped drops from July 14.
After a few extracts, compare your garage to the builds list and the rest of the tier list hub. Non-walkthrough utilities live under Tools.
What these guides assume
The demo teaches Armory, raids, and garage, but Steam still showed a coming_soon flag on this wiki’s build day. Quad legs arrived around February 20, 2026. Biped legs, Arena, Bandit enemies, and weapon customization arrived July 14, 2026. Locked stages stay hidden in the demo.
When a build changes a number, read Patch Notes before you trust a rank.
Pick a page
Open Getting Started if the Armory is still a blur. If movement already feels right, go to Raids and Objectives and then How to Get Parts. Timing and demo downloads live on the Updates Hub. Store and Discord URLs live on Official Channels.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the most common RIG Riot questions.
Where should a new RIG Riot pilot start?
Open Getting Started, then How to Play, then bind turbo boost on controls.
Do these guides cover the demo or the full game?
They describe systems you can practice in the demo. Steam still listed coming_soon on this wiki's build day, so treat locked stages and later content as in flux.
Is RIG Riot single-player?
Yes. Steam lists single-player only, with full controller support, achievements, and cloud saves.
Which language is on the Steam listing?
English interface, full audio, and subtitles. Proofreaders are invited through Discord, not through in-game language packs on the store page.
Where do I check if a weapon number changed?
Use Patch Notes and the weapons and mods guide together. Public notes are summarized here; the full lists live on itch.devlog.
