RIG Riot Tools Hub

This hub is the practical side of RIG Riot: can your machine run it, can your hands fly it, and can a Steam Deck survive a raid. Steam lists a September 14, 2026 launch window. A demo can be downloaded on Steam and itch.io, so test hardware before you argue about builds. Sage Boatman ships a Windows Unreal Engine 5 title with English full audio, single-player raids, full controller support, achievements, and cloud saves. Steam rates Deck compatibility Playable, not Verified. Official Steam platform is Windows; Linux through Proton shows up in press coverage but is unofficial.

What this hub answers

Will it run? Steam’s published minimum is Windows 10, Intel Core i7-4790K @ 4.00 GHz, 8 GB RAM, GeForce GTX 960, DirectX 12, and 10 GB storage. No recommended spec is published — we will not invent one. The itch playtest zip is about 2.8 GB; Steam still lists 10 GB, so treat those as different packages.

Can you fly it? Controls are configurable. The tutorial teaches look, booster on/off for horizontal speed, jump, a still wall jump for extra height, a moving wall kick, and a held jump for flight boost. The HUD shows HP, EN, SPD, and BST ON, plus LS/RS/LH/RH ammo. The garage uses Esc, Enter, Q/E, F, R, and middle mouse. Controllers are fully supported; the mouse jumps to the top-left when a pad is detected. There is a setting to fire semi-auto as auto.

Will a Deck hold? Playable. Full controller. Camera comfort, custom volume, adjustable difficulty, and playable without timed input. HUD opacity slider. Photosensitivity warning. Sage has said they intend Deck-friendly 60 FPS after settings tweaks; an earlier public note also talked about locking 40 FPS. Test the demo on the actual Deck.
