Achievements Guide

This page covers every Steam achievement in RIG Riot. Achievement data comes from public Steam profiles and community guides. Rarity percentages shift as more pilots complete the game. Some achievements are straightforward raid milestones; others require specific build choices or prolonged garage work. Read this page when a trophy is blocking your completionist run, not before your first raid.

Pair this page with the weapon tier list and Volatile Mods tier list when a trophy asks for a specific weapon or mod type. Pair with garage customization when a trophy asks for parts or loadouts. Pair with how to get parts when a trophy asks for specific drop sources.

How achievements work in RIG Riot

Steam unlocks achievements through the client. The garage saves loadouts and parts between raids; weapons and Volatile Mods reset with each run. Some trophies are tied to permanent garage progress (parts, loadouts, scrap spent), while others are tied to in-run choices (specific weapons equipped, specific mods triggered, specific enemies defeated).

Demo achievements are hidden separately from full-game achievements. A public patch notes explicitly hid demo-ineligible achievements so players would not see false unlocks in the demo client. The full game has the complete achievement list.

Early-game achievements (first 5 raids)

These trophies reward the first hours of play and basic raid completion. They unlock naturally as you work through the tutorial loop.

First Raid Complete — Finish your first raid and extract with at least one part. This is the natural endpoint of the getting-started loop. Run one Mission, bank one outer part, and this unlocks.

Armory Visitor — Open the Armory and save your first loadout. Does not require spending Scrap — just save and exit. This unlocks on the garage screen before your second raid.

Parts Collector — Bank five different parts in the garage. Outer parts drop from enemy RIGs; inner parts drop from non-RIG enemies. Mix one raid of RIG kills with one raid of patrol farming.

Scrap Spent — Spend 1,000 Scrap in the Armory. This is cumulative across all runs. It unlocks naturally as you upgrade starters and buy rerolls over multiple sessions.

Mid-game achievements (10–30 raids)

These trophies ask for specific build choices, specific objectives, or sustained garage work. They reward pilots who start mixing parts seriously.

Weapon Specialist — Equip weapons from all three weight classes (light, medium, heavy) in a single loadout. Check the weapon tier list for weight class notes, then build a loadout that carries one light (sniper or pistol), one medium (assault rifle orSMG), and one heavy (gatling, shotgun, or launcher).

Volatile Mod Master — Fill all six Volatile Mod slots in a single raid. This requires encryption tokens and chest luck. Prioritize chests when you have tokens, and accept mod drops even if they are not your preferred type. See the Volatile Mods tier list for type rankings.

Quad Legs Equipped — Equip Quad legs in the garage and complete a raid. Quad legs arrived around February 20, 2026 in the demo. Any Quad leg part from a drop or Armory purchase works. See quad and biped legs for chassis differences.

Biped Legs Equipped — Equip biped legs in the garage and complete a raid. Biped legs became part drops on July 14, 2026. They are the chassis for aerial builds and Watcher hover. See quad and biped legs.

Scrap Hoarder — Accumulate 10,000 Scrap in your total balance. This is a long-term garage grind. Do not spend Scrap aggressively in early sessions; instead, bank it for bulk Armory upgrades later.

Late-game and completionist achievements

These trophies require sustained farming, specific enemy kills, or a full garage clear. They are the hardest unlocks in the list.

Full Garage — Own at least one of every part type in the garage. Outer parts come from enemy RIGs; inner parts come from non-RIG enemies. This trophy requires prolonged farming and part banking across many sessions. See how to get parts for drop source notes.

Transport Boss Slayer — Defeat the transport boss at the end of any raid. The transport activates after you complete all major objectives. Do not trigger it until you are ready for the fight. See raids and objectives for transport timing.

Arena Champion — Win an Arena duel against an Arena Foe. Arena arrived in the July 14, 2026 demo update. Enter from the garage after you have a saved loadout. See the Arena guide.

All Loadouts Saved — Save five different loadouts in the garage. The July 14 update added saved weapons to loadouts and saved colors and palettes. Fill five slots with distinct builds.

Rare Parts Finder — Find and bank a rare part with a special effect. Rare parts can roll with their own powerful effects on top of normal stats. They are distinguished by a visual or text cue in the garage. Farm high-difficulty raids for better rare drop rates.

Achievement farming tips

Some achievements are easier to farm intentionally than to wait for naturally. Here are the practical paths:

For Parts Collector and Full Garage, run Mission mode on a difficulty you can consistently clear. Mission scales with completed objectives, not time, so you can control the session length. Target RIG enemies for outer parts and patrol enemies for inner parts.

For Volatile Mod Master, save encryption tokens for chest-rich routes. Do not spend tokens on rerolls until you have filled all six slots at least once. If a chest offers a mod you already have, take it anyway for the slot unlock.

For Scrap Hoarder, play conservatively in early raids. Spend only on rerolls and essential Armory upgrades. Let Scrap accumulate while you learn the raid loop on Mission before you start bulk-buying parts.

For Arena Champion, enter Arena after you have a tested loadout and at least one Volatile Mod type you understand. Arena is a duel sandbox — bring what you know works, not what you are still testing.

Rarity and community completion

Achievement rarities on Steam reflect the current player base. Early achievements (First Raid Complete, Armory Visitor) will always be more common than late achievements (Full Garage, Rare Parts Finder). Rarity percentages do not affect unlock difficulty — they only reflect how many players have earned each trophy.

Check your Steam profile for personal achievement progress. The full list is visible in-game through the Steam overlay or through the RIG Riot library page on Steam.

Next steps after unlocking trophies

When achievement hunting is done, the rest of the wiki opens up. The builds page gives the garage work a purpose. The weapon tier list gives the loadout work a direction. The Volatile Mods gives the mod board a strategy.Achievements are milestones, not a guide to the game.
